Halloween weekend fantastico!
Hi, I've been all distracted actually having interactive conversations with people, and have neglected this journal, so time for a quick update.
Went to a totally amazing halloween party last night at our friend Jim's house, at an old warehouse converted into his house. Jim always throws huge halloween bashes, and this was his 40th b-day too, so it was incredible. Like the opening band was Mini-Kiss, and the main act was the Toadies. Holy Fuckin Shit, it was awesome!
The basement of the place was turned into a haunted house, but it was a private affair, so they did some really twisted, wrong things. And as you went through the maze fo rooms, they got smaller and smaller, till you had to crawl on yer hands & knees to get through the last door. It was terrific. Parts of the maze you'd get down on yer hands & knees, go through an opening, then pop yer head up through a hole in the ceiling. In one, there was a dag-nasty exhibit I shall not mention unless someone requests an elaboration on twisted & gory, but the other popped yer head up inside a ring of aquariums containing Betta fish sitting on the bar. At the end, you could watch a TV showing views from hidden cameras hidden throughout the haunted house. And get a drink at the bar and watch peoples' heads pop up in the aquariums. I got to spend some quality time with some great friends. Overall, one of the best Halloweens in history.
