Time to wake up

Well, Hurricaqne Rita seems to be seriously trying to cramp our party style.

That's 2 LOGs in a row that have had hurricane warnings, think we should be taking this as an omen?

Mother, Tasha & Josh were heading in from LA, and Theresa from Tuscon, and now we may have to postpone the whole shebang. DAMNIT!

I did hit the store & stock up on the necessities. But we need more beer.

Oh, dear Pus, have you any idea how much we must love thee? Most of my supply stocking was to prepare for fishy & pus life-support, should we be without electricity for a few days. I got some battery-operated air pumps and bummed a generator, and flake fish food (most of what we usually use is frozen or refrigerated), and live snails for the pus. 'Twould be a tragedy to lose the tanks. If we end up losinng electricity for too long, we technically could bag all the fishies & corals up & take them to Austin & sell them to a store, but I seriously doubt it'll come to that.


On a completely unrelated note, I just saw a german sheperd trying to hump a chihuahua in our street, it was terribly cute, and terribly unsuccessful. 6opou, wonder if it's the same pair? Talk about yer star-crossed lovers!
